When you submit a “what you paid” price, we collect that amount and ZIP. We also automatically collect standard technical data (IP address, browser, device, and pages viewed) through analytics and advertising cookies.
How we use information
We use quote-request details to match you with home-improvement contractors and lead-matching partners who can contact you about your project. We use price submissions, in aggregate, to improve our cost estimates. We use technical data to operate, secure, and improve the site and to measure and serve advertising.
How we share information
If you submit a quote request, we share your details with the contractors and lead-matching networks we partner with so they can contact you about your project — this is the core purpose of that form. We also work with service providers including Google (AdSense advertising and Search Console), ActiveProspect TrustedForm (consent certification), our hosting and database providers, and affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates. We do not sell personal information beyond the lead-matching described here, and we never share “what you paid” submissions in a personally identifying way.
Consent to be contacted (TCPA)
When you check the consent box and submit the quote form, you provide express written consent for us and the companies we match you with (and their partners/agents) to contact you at the phone number and email you provide, including by automated technology and SMS text. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and message and data rates may apply. We record this consent — including the exact language shown and a TrustedForm certificate — as proof. You can revoke consent at any time by asking the contacting party to stop or by emailing us.
Advertising & cookies
